Monteverde

A new take on traditional Italian

Monteverde, led by James Beard Award-winning chef Sarah Grueneberg, blends Italian culinary traditions with global influences to create an extraordinary dining experience. Known for its hand-crafted, fresh pasta, the restaurant needed a brand that reflected its artisanal approach and bold vision. We were tasked with building an identity visually representing Monteverde’s commitment to craftsmanship and culinary excellence.

The identity is inspired by the core of their restaurant, a Pastaficio, or pasta factory where artisans make made-to-order fresh pasta. An energetic circle of pasta forming the letter “M” feels hand-done and authentic, just like the restaurant. Monteverde’s has built a reputation as a top dining destination, earning acclaim from the James Beard Awards and MICHELIN Guide.
